Most people come to Japan and ski one mountain for a week. We bought two houses on opposite sides of the Shinetsu region so you don't have to.
The Myoko house puts Lotte Arai, Akakura and Seki within twenty minutes. The Iiyama house has Nozawa, Togari, Madarao and Shiga inside an hour. Both are renovated, both are set up properly for winter, and both are run by the owner rather than a management company.
Pick the side of the region you want to ski. Or take a month and do both.
